Research initiative to provide Android OS support for a custom automotive CSM board, requiring end-to-end customization of the AOSP stack.
What I did
- Customized the Android OS source stack including HALs, SEPolicy and framework layers to enable feature parity on custom hardware.
- Developed HALs for proprietary automotive hardware modules, ensuring seamless integration with Android middleware.
- Authored and fine-tuned SEPolicy rules to enforce proper security contexts and permissions for new hardware services.
- Contributed to Android bring-up on CSM hardware.
