SEAT_CUSHION_SIDE_SUPPORT_MOVE

What it is

Represents property for movement direction and speed of seat cushion side support.

The maxInt32Value and minInt32Value in each VehicleAreaConfig must be defined. All integers between minInt32Value and maxInt32Value must be supported.

The maxInt32Value represents the maximum movement speed of the seat cushion side support when growing wider (i.e. support is decreasing). The minInt32Value represents the maximum movement speed of the seat cushion side support when growing thinner (i.e. support is increasing).

Larger absolute values, either positive or negative, indicate a faster movement speed. Once the seat cushion side support reaches the positional limit, the value must reset to 0. If SEAT_CUSHION_SIDE_SUPPORT_MOVE's value is currently 0, then that means there is no movement currently occurring.

This property is not in any particular unit but in a specified range of relative movement speeds.

This property is defined as VehiclePropertyAccess.READ_WRITE, but OEMs have the option to implement it as VehiclePropertyAccess.READ only.

How the ID is built

A property ID is a 32-bit value packing four fields. Reading 0x15400ba0 apart:

FieldMaskValueMeans
Group0xf00000000x10000000SYSTEM
Area0x0f0000000x05000000SEAT
Type0x00ff00000x00400000INT32
Ordinal0x0000ffff0x00000ba00xba0

Reading it from an app

CarPropertyManager mgr = (CarPropertyManager)
        car.getCarManager(Car.PROPERTY_SERVICE);

int value =
        mgr.getIntProperty(VehiclePropertyIds.SEAT_CUSHION_SIDE_SUPPORT_MOVE, areaId);

This property can be read and written, though an OEM may implement it as read-only. It fires a callback whenever the value changes.
